Weekly Shonen Jump’ reveals the main cast members for the anime ‘HUNTER × HUNTER’

Previously, tokyohive announced the anime adaption of Togashi Yoshihiro’s manga “HUNTER × HUNTER“. In the latest issue of ‘Weekly Shonen Jump‘, released on August 8th, the voice actors for the anime series’ main characters were revealed.

Though this is the second anime adaptation for “HUNTER × HUNTER”, the cast members are completely different from the first series. Ise Mariya, well known as the voice of ‘Cure Lemonade‘ (from ‘Yes! Pretty Cure 5′), will voice ‘Killua‘.

‘Kurapika‘ will be voiced by Sawashiro Miyuki, who was the voice of ‘Lag Seeing‘ (from ‘Tegami Bachi’). Also, ‘Leorio’s voice will be Fujiwara Keiji, best known as the voice of ‘Nohara Hiroshi‘ (from ‘Crayon Shin-chan’). While Namikawa Daisuke, who played ‘Prince‘ (from ‘Level E’) will be playing ‘Hisoka‘. A rookie voice actress, Han Megumi has been chosen as the voice of the main character ‘Gon‘.

Nihon TV will begin televising ‘HUNTER × HUNTER’ on October 2nd.
